OnePlus is set to launch a refreshed and a much affordable range of OnePlus TV in India on July 2nd, 2020. Following are the updates we know so far about the latest TV’s from OnePlus.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has recently stated that the new OnePlus TV will have a 95% screen-to body ratio and a stunning 6.9 mm thin body. Making it even thinner that their latest flagship phone OnePlus 8 pro. The new TV series will offer 50% deeper bass than before and will feature a carbon filter back similar to their flagship Q1 series.
Pete further revealed in an interview to Android Central that the upcoming OnePlus TV models will focus on two key pillars – design and user experience.
Further in a tweet Lau explained how their innovative acoustic arrangements creating much deeper bass by rotating the speakers to 90 degrees. Allowing them to fit two large full-range speakers inside the TV cabinet.
Talking about user experience , we know that the new TV’s will support Cinematic Display and Dolby Vision with the Netflix app, preloaded this time. The new colour Gamma engine will have a DCI-P3 color gamut with 93% color coverage producing sharper colors and richer contrast.
Price and availability
With all the teasers and official updates by OnePlus , it’s clear that there will be three different models. One under ₹20,000 and others under ₹30,000 and ₹50,000 respectively.
The lower cost model being a 32-inch model and the other one’s 43-inches and 55-inches or two versions of the 43–inch model.
